I am married to the love of my life, Robin, and we have four children: Sam, Jimmy, Gus, and Jozey.  Our children mean the world to us and we feel very blessed to have each other.  Robin is the owner/operator of a local business in Mountain Grove, Paw Spa, pet grooming salon.

Most of our free time is spent attending activities of our children such as sports, band, choir and drama.  When not doing these things we are and avid outdoor family.  The traditional heritage of hunting, fishing and archery are a HUGE part of who we are as a couple and a family.

I was raised in Wright County and I know our local rural values of hard work, honesty, and respect.  As a young man I worked at Richard Brother’s supermarket as a carryout and The MSU Fruit Experiment Station while still in school.

I graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1988, stayed close to home and attended college at MSU and earned my law degree at the University of Missouri Columbia. I returned to hometown, Mountain Grove, fall of 1996.  I turned down jobs in metropolitan areas to return to Mountain Grove, to serve the people who helped make me who I am.

I’ve worked hard as an attorney for nearly 22 years, handled almost every type of case imaginable and presented cases all over Southern Missouri AND I have been a prosecutor for nearly 16 years.

As a prosecutor I’ve tried numerous cases to juries and have worked hard to send violent offenders and those who commit crimes against children to prison.  I’ve worked closely with law enforcement to battle our county’s drug problem and required and encouraged offenders to get treatment and rehabilitate.  I’ve worked hard to earn the trust and respect of the public and have managed one of the highest cases per prosecutor caseloads in the State on a limited budget.

Now, I want to continue my service to the citizens of South Central Missouri as a hometown, personal, dedicated attorney. Things have come full circle and I’m back to where I began my legal career.   I’ve fought the legal battles in court to send violent and predatory criminals to prison and now I’m ready to fight for your legal rights against insurance companies. Through my professional experience as an attorney and prosecutor and with my life lessons as a father, husband, neighbor and friend, I have the knowledge, wisdom and skills as well as a friendly, client-oriented attitude to be the best lawyer for your injury and insurance law matters.
